What will you be doing?

You will report to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and be at the heart of a highly successful international legal practice. As a Finance Assistant, you will ideally be a proactive and enthusiastic individual. Working within a busy and supportive team the main duties of the Finance Assistant will include:

• Coding and processing purchase invoices across multiple currencies

• Reconciling supplier statements

• Identifying and coding fixed asset invoices

• Processing credit card and cash expenses, including production of reports

• New supplier set up

• Involvement with ad hoc projects

• Providing general support and assistance within the Finance team

• Proposing and processing supplier payment runs

• Multi-Currency Payment Runs

• Bank reconciliations

Candidates will possess the following skills and qualities:

• GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English and Minimum of 2 A levels or above;

• Competent with using MS Office;

• Prior experience of working within a busy purchase ledger environment;

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;

• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;

• Good verbal and written communication skills;

• A can-do attitude and real flexibility to change and adapt to the day to day requirements of the office;

• Good organisational skills;

• Proactive and enthusiastic;
